SPE Capital was previously the private equity arm of Swicorp, a leading financial services company active in MENA since 1987.

We are looking for a highly motivated, driven and autonomous Investor engagement junior officer to be part of our Operations team. The position would be based in Tunis.

This experience will provide an excellent platform from which to launch a career in private equity, and the opportunity to gain specific region exposure. It will offer a broad experience in investor relationship management as well as the ability to facilitate effective communication between the company’s management and investors’ community, covering various aspects such as communication to investors, fundraising, through both verbal and written means, in addition to participating first-hand in the reporting of SPE Capital's current investment portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to Investor Engagement Department in:
  • Investor base management/ Fundraising;
  • Limited Partners’ relationship Management and;
  • SPE actively managed Funds’ reporting
  • Provide support with maintaining and continuously updating CRM database with records of existing and prospective Investors
  • Assist on fundraising due diligence questionnaires, marketing materials and other customized reports for existing and prospective investors in collaboration with SPE internal teams
  • Assist with the preparation of the various quarterly presentations and Investor reports
  • Liaise with Investment and Operations teams to address Investors’ requests
  • Support continuous improvement and project work through simplification of reports, analytic tools and harmonization of reporting

Candidate Profile & Requirements

  • Smart and creative candidate with a demonstrable interest and knowledge in the field of private equity and the investment banking space.
  • Sense of urgency and the capacity to prioritize and accomplish tasks promptly, especially when faced with tight deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and good organizational skills; ability to stay on top of changing data/facts across multiple documents seamlessly.
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to deliver clear and professional presentations
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently as well as in a collaborative environment
  • Interest and willingness to work in the region
  • Post graduate degree in business, finance, management, and/or related area
  • Solid proficiency at using Microsoft Office ex Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Experience with CRM system is preferred
  • Fluency in English required, knowledge of French and Arabic is preferred
  • Prior knowledge and experience with Private Equity standards is a plus
  • Experience within the investment banking / private equity / management consulting field is a plus
