Nabil Triki is the Managing Partner and CEO at SPE Capital. Nabil leads the firm’s strategic vision, investment activities, and value creation efforts across its portfolio. Over his private equity career, he has overseen investments across diverse sectors, including financial services, healthcare, industrial manufacturing, consumer goods, and energy.

Ahmed EL ORABY
PARTNER

Ahmed joined SPE in 2020 from Ezdehar Management, where he led transactions in the financial services, transportation, healthcare and industrial sectors.
Prior to that, Ahmed was an Executive Director at JP Morgan, based in New York,
where he served as a principal investor and portfolio strategist in the bank’s Chief
Investment Office.

He started his career as a strategy consultant with Booz & Company’s Cairo Office.
Ahmed holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.Sc. in Electronics
Engineering from the American University in Cairo, Egypt.

Edouard PONTET
Managing Partner & COO

Edouard Pontet is Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer at SPE Capital, where he oversees all operational functions of the firm, including Finance, Legal, Investor Engagement, and ESGI.

With over 15 years of experience in private equity across emerging markets, Edouard was part of the founding team of SPE Capital in 2016. Prior to that, he served as Managing Director at Swicorp. He began his career as a lawyer, practicing for a decade in leading international law firms in Paris and New York, advising on cross-border M&A and private equity transactions.

Edouard is admitted to both the Paris and New York Bars. He is a graduate from Paris II – Panthéon Assas and Sciences Po Paris (Economics and Finance major). He also holds a Master of Laws from Harvard Law School (Class of 1997). He is fluent in French and English.

Ghassen SEGHAIER
ASSOCIATE

Mrs. Hariz Joined Swicorp in 2006 after having spent two years teaching economics in Paris Dauphine University in Paris and then in ESC Tunis.
She managed the research team at Swicorp for 4 years before becoming a member of
the Swicorp private equity team. She also led several transactions in North Africa in
industrial goods, FMCG and services.
Mrs. Hariz holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Economics from Paris Dauphine
University in Paris.

Hicham BENNIS
PRINCIPAL

Hicham joined SPE in 2022 from Ares Management, where he served as a Vice President, based in Paris, in the fund’s Private Debt team covering France and Southern Europe.

Hicham was involved in several transactions, notably in the healthcare and software sectors, through various debt instruments as well as equity co-investments.

Hicham started his career as an investment banking analyst at Rothschild, based in Paris. Hicham holds a Master’s degree in Management from HEC Paris (‘Grande Ecole’ program) and a Master 1 in Tax & Business law from the University of Paris I

Mehdi joined Swicorp in 2005, after 3 years in consulting in Paris.
Mehdi led several transactions in MENA, including growth and buy-and-build plays, is a member of the investment committee and sits on the board of a number of portfolio companies. Mehdi is a graduate from the École Polytechnique in Paris.

MANAGING PARTNER & CEO

Nabil Triki is the Managing Partner and CEO at SPE Capital. Nabil leads the firm’s strategic vision, investment activities, and value creation efforts across its portfolio. Over his private equity career, he has overseen investments across diverse sectors, including financial services, healthcare, industrial manufacturing, consumer goods, and energy.

Prior to founding SPE Capital, Nabil spent over a decade at Swicorp, where he established and led its private equity business. Under his leadership, Swicorp raised and managed private equity funds totaling over USD 1 billion in assets under management and deployed over USD 900 million across 20 transactions in the MENA region. His track record includes several high-impact growth and buy-and-build strategies that have transformed regional companies.

Before transitioning to private equity, Nabil worked at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Paris-France for several years , where he advised clients on strategy and operations, and prior thereto in corporate roles in the US, at Honeywell and Unilever .

Nabil holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He is an active board member for several SPE Capital portfolio companies and a recognized leader in the private equity and investment management space across emerging markets.

Noura BAKKOUR
VICE PRESIDENT - HEAD OF ESG & IMPACT

Noura joined SPE Capital in 2020 as an Impact & Sustainability Senior Manager after four years of consulting in international development and sustainability.
Previously, Noura served as Project Manager at Institut du Développement Durable et des Relations Internationales (IDDRI), an environmental think tank based in Paris, where she contributed to IDDRI’s efforts to assess and communicate the current state of knowledge regarding financing and implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Prior to that, Noura held program management and coordination positions at the Earth Institute in New York City, Conservation International, and the Pew Center on Global Climate Change (currently known as C2ES) in Washington, DC.
Noura holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in environmental science and policy from Columbia University in New York City.

Salma FAKHFAKH
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Salma joined SPE Capital in 2017, after having spent three years as a CFO of California Gym, the leading fitness chain in Tunisia, and a portfolio investment of Intaj II.
Previously, Salma worked for 4 years at PwC, where she worked on transactions
and audit services in both Tunis and Paris.
Salma holds a chartered public accountant certificate from IHEC Carthage

Ms. Ben Salem joined Swicorp in 2007 after a 6 month internship as an equity research analyst with a regional investment bank in Tunis covering the Tunisian companies listed on the Stock Exchange.
She started her career at Swicorp as a research analyst before becoming a member of the Investors Relations team.

Ms. Ben Salem has a Master degree in Finance and Banking from IHEC and Bachelor Degree from ISG Tunis, and speaks Arabic,
French and English.

Stéphane HEUZÉ
MANAGING PARTNER

Stéphane Heuzé joined SPE Capital in 2020 as a Managing Partner, based in Casablanca.
Prior to joining SPE Capital, he was CEO of Wendel Africa, in Casablanca, from where he spent 6 years covering Africa, where Wendel invested over $1bn between 2013 and 2020.

He began his career with The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Paris, until 2005.
From 2007 to 2009, he spent two years with Goldman Sachs in London, within the team responsible for managing the firm’s equity, mezzanine and secondary debt funds.
In 2009, Stéphane returned to BCG as a founding member of the Casablanca office, covering Africa. Stéphane is a graduate from Ecole des Mines de Paris (2000) and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School (2007).

Tarek LABABIDI

Tarek joined Swicorp in 2013 after starting his career at Lazard, BNP Paribas, and PwC.
Tarek holds an MBA from INSEAD, and an MSc in Engineering from Ecole Centrale Lyon.
He is a CFA charterholder and speaks English, French, Arabic, Spanish, and Portuguese.
